Experience the canyon after dark. Join knowledgeable guides on a fairly short hike and maybe we’ll even howl at the moon if it’s up and glowing! Participants should be able to hike 3 miles (round trip) over rugged but beautiful trails with some elevation gain. Reservations required and will be from S through noon November 25, 2016. Group size limited to the first 12 who register; open to ages 14 and older; minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian; no pets please. Sorry, no group reservations. Include name, age if under 18, e-mail address and telephone number for each reservation. Due to weather conditions this program is subject to cancellation. IMPORTANT INFO: Since this hike begins after hours, be sure to self-register as you enter the Natural Area. Instructions are posted to the right of the Fee Booth. The fine print
Dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes. Bring a flashlight, at least a quart of water, and a snack if you like. Meet at the Visitor Center by the Rainwater Harvesting Tower.
