Bird Hike

Join Steve Hawkins, member of SA Audubon Bird Records Committee and Friends of Government Canyon Activities Committee, on a hike to see birds of Government Canyon State Natural Area. The route take will depend on the interests of the group. We will use the Joe Johnston Route as the core of the hike and may explore the Twin Oaks and/or Wildcat Canyon trails or go east on the Recharge Trail depending on the interests and abilities of the group. Group size limited; participants under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian; no pets please. Reservations required and will be accepted through noon April 24, 2015. Sorry, no group reservations. Include name of each participant, age if under 18, e-mail address and telephone number for each reservation. Subject to cancellation. The fine print

Wear sturdy shoes, hat, sunscreen, and bring at least one liter of water per person. Meet at the rainwater collection towers.
